Odeleite’s Secret Trails - Terras da Ordem Circular Hike

Enjoy a tranquil day hiking the scenic Terras da Ordem, beginning with a drive to the charming mountain village of Odeleite. This circular route meanders through gentle hills, passing through lush forests of holm oaks, olive trees, and carob groves. As we follow the paths along the Foupana and Odeleite rivers, you’ll experience the rich natural landscape, including abundant birdlife like grey herons and kingfishers.

Our journey leads us through verdant orchards, riverside vegetable gardens, and finally winds through the pine groves of Barranco do Cavalo, creating a serene, immersive experience with Algarve’s inland beauty. Once back at our starting point, we’ll return to Tavira by private transfer.

To ensure a comfortable experience, we recommend a start time between 7:30 and 8:00 am to make the most of the cool morning temperatures.
