Overview
Enjoy a beautiful coastal hike along the Ria Formosa Natural Park. We take the train or drive to Fuseta and hike along the Ria Formosa coastal nature park. A lagoon landscape determined by the tides and flat offshore islands with long sandy beaches characterize the coastal strip. Our path leads us along the water, where the colorful fishing boats circle. We cross a small bridge to reach the beach of Praia do Barril - and the refreshing sea awaits us! Afterwards we take a lunch break in Santa Luzia before going back to Tavira. The medieval old town with its fortress, charming squares and the seven-arched Ponte Romana bridge invites us to take a stroll.
